Parkinson's Disease feed

Parkinson's disease is a progressive nerve disease which effects certain parts of the brain, often with no obvious cause, and is due to a reduction in the amount of dopamine, a nerve transmitter chemical, in these areas. This results in movement problems caused by the muscles not responding normally to nerve stimulation. This can cause tremor, muscle rigidity and slowness in moving, and progress to other problems such as mood, behaviour and thinking, though the re is a wide variation in effect between different people.
