Angina
Angina is the heart pain caused by the heart muscles being starved of oxygen due to the furring-up or partial blocking of the blood vessels supplying the heart muscles with blood. Angina pain is mostly brought on by exercise when the heart beats faster and needs more blood to provide the oxygen for this extra work. Angina occurs when the blood supply to the heart is not able to supply this extra capacity and the heart muscle becomes starved of oxygen. Other things which can trigger angina include emotion, going out into a cold wind or digesting a heavy meal.
