Protective gel for the treatment of mouth ulcers, denture rub, gingivitis and painful gums.

A mouth ulcer is a small, superficial, painful lesion of the mouth. It usually heals without complications.

Gingivitis, or inflammation of the gums, has various causes. Medical attention is required when it is prolonged or very severe. In some cases, the damaged gum bleeds slightly while brushing the teeth. It is generally accepted that regular massage of the gums can prevent this bleeding.

Dentures can cause inflamed or painful gums. However, it is generally accepted that regular massage of the gums can aid or reduce these symptoms.

Properties: Studies show that the application of O.G.T. to the mucosa restores the protective hydrolipid film and accelerates the turnover of the underlying cells, while limiting insensitive water loss. The properties of O.G.T., which act without any pharmacological effect, are especially adapted to the treatment of sensitive zones, combined with massage if necessary.

Soothagel Directions:

Mouth ulcers: Apply a small amount of Soothagel directly onto the mouth ulcer 3 to 4 times a day, using a cotton bud or a clean finger.

• Do not rinse the mouth after application.
• Be sure of good oral hygiene.

• Massage the area thoroughly until a satisfactory improvement is obtained.
• Do not rinse the mouth immediately after application.
• Be sure of good oral hygiene.

• Ensure good penetration of the gel by using small circular movements, before putting dentures in.
• Repeat the process until a satisfactory improvement is obtained.

Oxygenated Glycerol Triesters O.G.T. 90%. Silicon Dioxide, Oil of Petrolatum, Flavourings, Aspartame.

Precautions: The safety of this product has been demonstrated. It must be used as instructed and does not eliminate the need for medical attention. See your GP if symptoms become worse or persist for more then 5 days, especially in the case of prolonged bleeding or infection.
