Directions

ClearZal BAC directions:

  • Always follow the instructions in your own product

Debride / trimming and filing the target nail to remove damaged tissue with either of the two procedures outlined below:

  1. File the nail with the nail file provided. It is important to ensure that the nail file is as sanitized prior to using on another nail
  2. Trim your nails such that the finger nail or toenail does not protrude beyond the tip of the finger or toe. Do not trim your nails too closely as this may cause damage to the nail bed and additional complications.

Cleanse the target nails and thoroughly dry between all toes and fingers: Use clean sponge, pad or cloth when cleansing.

  • If the application is to be made on several nails always use an antiseptic solution to sanitise the file or nail clipper after use.
  • Any microbes present can easily be spread from nail to nail
  • Use a sanitising solution of alcohol or peroxide to cleanse the nail file and clipper after use or alternatively apply ClearZal BAC directly to the instruments to ensure that any microbes present are eliminated.

Apply ClearZal BAC Antimicrobial solution twice daily (before you put on shoes and after you take your shoes off) over all areas concerned including over the nail surface and around and under the free edge of the nail and over the cuticle. Please allow two minute or so for ClearZal BAC Antimicrobial to dry or massage into nail and surrounding skin.
