Product Info

Dalivit Multivitamin Drops contain seven essential vitamins for the prevention of vitamin deficiency: Just one daily dose supplies the recommended amounts of these vitamins for normal health and growth in early childhood.

Vitamins are a group of substances, which are present in minute quantities in natural food. They are essential for good health and, in children they are particularly important for normal growth and development.

The necessary vitamins are usually provided by a balanced and varied diet, but if any of the essential vitamins are absent from food for long periods of time, poor growth or certain deficiency diseases can occur.

Dalivit Multivitamin Drops is supplied in a bottle with an integral dropper:

  • Once-a-day multivitamin drops
  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
  • No added colours or additives
  • Does not contain peanut oil

What the active ingredients of Dalivit Multivitamin Drops do:

Vitamin A and vitamin D2: for the development of bones, teeth and skin and the prevention of rickets.

Vitamin B1, B2, B6 and B3: for the development and functioning of the nervous system.

Vitamin C: helps develop healthy blood, gums and cartilage and also aids iron absorption.

Why children need vitamin supplements: Most healthy adults will receive all the vitamins they need from a good diet, but growing children have higher vitamin requirements, which may not always be met by diet, particularly if they are going through a 'faddy food' stage. Most doctors and health authorities therefore recommend the regular use of vitamin supplement for babies and small children.

Directions

Dalivit Multivitamin Drops dosage:

  • For babies from 6 weeks to one year, the dose is 7 drops daily
  • For older children, adults and the elderly it is 14 drops daily or as directed by the physician

Dalivit Multivitamin Drops have a built-in dropper to help you measure out an exact dose:  To use, unscrew the cap and tip the bottle forward. Allow the drops to form and count them as they come out.

  • If you miss a dose take the dose as soon as you remember then go on as normal

Dalivit Multivitamin Drops can be given by allowing them to fall directly on the back of the tongue. However, you will probably find it easier to add them to fruit juices or other drinks.

The drops mix in easily and children find the taste pleasant but do not leave the drink standing after you have mixed it, or the vitamins could lose some of their effects.

Do not exceed the stated dose:  If too many drops are taken contact your nearest hospital casualty department or tell your doctor immediately.
