Tixylix Dry Cough (100ml) [P]
Tixylix Dry Cough is used to relieve children's dry, tickly coughs .

Tixylilx Dry Cough Directions:
Using the measuring spoon provided, the following doses are to be given 6 hourly by mouth as required:
6-10 years: one to two 5 ml spoonful.
Not suitable for children under 6 years old.
Not suitable for adults and children over 10 years.
If the condition does not get better talk to your doctor.
In case of accidental overdosage, obtain medical advice. Take along the bottle and the label and any medicine that is left.
Each 5ml of Tixylix Dry Cough contains active ingredients:
- Pholcodine 4 mg
Also contains: liquid maltitol, glycerol, citric acid monohydrate, hydroxyethylcellulose, blackcurrant and vanilla flavours, sodium benzoate, acesulfame potassium and water.
Pholcodine is a cough supppressant.
Before you give your child Tixylix Dry Cough:
- Do not give to children under 6 years old
- Do not exceed the stated dose
- Do not give any other cough or cold medicine at the same time
- Seek the advice of a pharmacist or other healthcare professional before giving this product
Before taking Tixylix Dry Cough:
Do not use if your child is sensitive to any of its ingredients or if your doctor has advised you not to use a cough suppressant.
This medicine contains maltitol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this product.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist: If your child is taking other medicines.
Possible side effects:
Tixylix Dry Cough does not normally cause unwanted effects; however drowsiness and nausea have very occasionally been reported with pholcodine.
Seek medical advice if your child experiences any unwanted effects.
