Disprol Soluble Paracetamol are sugar free tablets:

Disprol gives effective pain and fever relief for children from 3 months:

  • Fever
  • Toothache
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • General aches and pains
  • Cold & flu symptoms
Directions

Disprol Soluble Tablets Directions:

  • For oral administration
  • Dissolve Disprol tablets in water
  • Always read the instruction on your own product

Dosage:

Under 3 mouths: On doctors advice only

3 months - under 1 year: 1/2 - 1 every tablet 4 hours (throw away other half of tablet)

1 year - under 6 years: 1 - 2 tablets every 4 hours

6 - 12 years: 2 - 4 tables every 4 hours

Warnings:

  • Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours
  • Wait 4 hours before giving another dose of this medicine
  • Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours

Disprol contains paracetamol: Do not give with any other paracetamol - containing products.

Immediate medical advice should he sought in the event of an overdose, even if the child seems well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage. 

ContentsDisprol ingredients: Each tablet contains 120mg of paracetamol Ph Eur, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, maltodextrin, sodium carbonate, sodium saccharin, lime flavour, and magnesium stearate.
Warnings

Consult your doctor before using Disprol:

  • If you are already giving your child other medicines
  • If your child's symptoms persist for more than 3 days consult a doctor

Do not give Disprol if your child is allergic to paracetamol

You should ask your pharmacist or doctor before you give Disprol if your child has liver or kidney problems, or is taking prescribed medicines.

Side-effects: Allergic reactions (such as skin rashes) or blood reactions may occasionally occur. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if your child has any side effects after taking this medicine.

Each tablet contains 80.33mg of sodium which may be harmful to people on a low sodium diet.
