Assertiveness Step by Step
By Windy Dryden and Daniel Constantinou - A Sheldon Press book

There are times when we all need to be more assertive, to be positive about ourselves and about others, to show respect for others by respecting ourselves. This book puts assertiveness in context and offers practical, thoroughly researched, tried and tested advice. Through clearly explained and thoughtfully presented examples, Assertiveness Step by Step will support you in moving towards a more positive sense of who you are and help you to change your behaviour for the better. In life you won't always get what you want, but you will learn from this book to know what it is you want and how to pursue it more positively.

Windy Dryden and Daniel Constantinou bring their wide and varied experience in psychotherapy and counselling, teaching and writing to this important subject. In clear and concise terms, they offer the necessary background information and targeted examples to help you coach yourself to assertiveness.
