Olbas Oil is a mixture of essential oils which gives off a vapour that helps clear congestion. It also acts as a counter-irritant, relieving pain when applied externally.

Olbas Oil is a blend of pure plant oils for the relief of bronchial and nasal congestion, hayfever and minor infections of the respiratory tract by inhalation.

Olbas Oil also relieves the symptoms of muscular pain and stiffness including backache, sciatica, lumbago, fibrositis and rheumatic pain by application to the skin.

How to use Olbas Oil:

• Not recommended for babies under 3 months old
• Ensure that hot water is kept out of the reach of children
• Always follow the instructions with your own product

As an inhalant for adults and children aged 2 and over:

• Inhale 2 or 3 Olbas oil drops from a tissue to clear painful sinuses and nasal congestion
• Supervision may be necessary with young children
• At night sprinkle 2 or 3 drops onto a tissue placed inside a pillowcase for all night relief

• Place 1 drop on a tissue and hold close to, but not touching, the child and allow child to breathe in vapour
• At night place 1 drop on a tissue and place in the room out of the child's reach
• The recommended dose may be added to hot water and the vapour inhaled, or left in the bedroom overnight

As a rub for muscular pain: Apply with gentle massage to the painful area three times daily.

Olbas Oil Active Ingredients (w/w): Cajuput Oil BPC 18.50%, Clove Oil EP 0.10%, Eucalyptus Oil EP 35.45%, Juniperberry Oil BPC 2.70%, Levomenthol EP 4.10%, Dementholised Mint Oil BP 35.45%, Wintergreen Oil BPC (1949) 3.70%.

• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
• For inhalation and external use on unbroken skin only
• Do not put drops directly into nose or mouth

Precautions when using Olbas Oil:

• Olbas Oil may cause a stinging sensation if it comes into contact with delicate skin - the effect is not serious and lasts only a short while
• If Olbas Oil is accidentally swallowed seek medical advice
• If Olbas Oil comes into direct contact with the surface of the eye, wash thoroughly and seek immediate medical advice
