Strepsils Extra Lozenges provide effective relief from painful sore throats

The active ingredient in Strepsils Extra Lozenges provide a double action:

• Anaesthetic to relieve pain and discomfort
• Antiseptic to fight the bacteria which can cause sore throats

Strepsils Extra Lozenges Directions:

• Remember young children can choke on lozenges
• For oral administration only
• Always follow the instructions in your own product

For children of 6 years and over, adults and the elderly:

• Dissolve one Srepsils Extra Lozenge slowly in the mouth every 3 hours as required
• Do not take more than 12 lozenges in any 24 hour period

Do not give to children under 6 years of age

• May occasionally cause allergic reactions including asthma
• This is more common if you are allergic to aspirin
• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed, do not use Strepsils Extra Lozenges
• This product is unsuitable if you are intolerant to carbohydrate

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if :

• You take too many lozenges
• Symptoms persist
• Anything unusual happens
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding

Each Strepsils Extra Lozenge contains the active ingredients: Hexylresorcinol 2.4mg

Strepsils Extra BLACKCURRANT Lozenges also contains: Sucrose, Glucose, Levomenthol, Blackcurrant Flavour, (containing propylene glycol), Carmoisine Edicol (E122), Patent Blue V (E131).

Strepsils Extra CHERRY Lozenges also contains: Sucrose, Glucose Syrup, Cherry Flavour, Propylene Glycol, Levomenthol, Carmoisine Edicol (E122).

Each Strepsils Extra Lozenge contains: 1.1g of glucose, 1.4g of sucrose
