Nytol Herbal Night Time Sleep Aid is a traditional herbal remedy to promote calmness and natural sleep:
Nytol Herbal contains:
- Hops are sedative and induce sleep
- Valerian is sedative, calming and induces sleep
- Passion flower is sedative and induces sleep
How to take Nytol Herbal:
- Do not give to children under 12 years of age
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years:
- Take two tablets, one hour before bedtime
- Swallow whole with water
- Do not exceed the stated dose
Whilst taking Nytol Herbal:
- Avoid alcohol whilst taking this medicine
- May cause drowsiness which can persist into the following day, if affected do not drive or operate machinery.
Each film coated Nytol Herbal Tablet contains the active ingredients: Extract of hops equivalent to 200 mg, extract of valerian equivalent to 160 mg and extract of passion flower equivalent to 130 mg.
Also contains: Calcium hydrogen phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose (E460), stearic acid, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (E464), polyethylene glycol, iron oxides (E172), titanium dioxide (E171).
Do not take Nytol Herbal if you:
- Are taking propanolol there may be an increase in the risk of visual disturbances
- Are sensitive to any of the tablet ingredients
- Are taking medicine to make you sleepy and avoid alcohol as there is a possibility of an additive effect
- Suffer from depressive illnesses
Seek medical advice before use if you: are pregnant or breast feeding.
Possible side effects: Most people do not have any side effects while taking Nytol Herbal.
However, if you experience any of the following side effects, or
anything else unusual happens, stop taking the medicine immediately and
see your doctor or pharmacist.
Possible side effects are: stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, gastro-enteritis, diarrhoea, fever, headache, palpitations, faintness.
