Crampex 48 Tablet Pack are for night-time muscle cramp.
Crampex is also available as Crampex 24 Tablet Pack
CRAMPEX Tablets are for night-time muscle cramp - they contain Calcium Gluconate, Colecalciferol and Nicotinic Acid:
- Calcium Gluconate replaces deficiency of calcium
- Colecalciferol assists in the absorption of calcium
- Nicotinic Acid improves circulation
Crampex Tablets directions for use:
- Not recommended for children
- Do not use the tablets if pregnant or breast feeding
Adults and the elderly:
- One or two Crampex Tablets with a drink, preferably before going to bed.
Attacks of cramp occur in bouts which last from a few days to several weeks: Often there are several weeks between each series of attacks. In such cases, it is advisable to take the tablets at night for a period and then discontinue when the anticipated duration of the attack has passed.

If you accidentally take too many Crampex Tablets you should consult a doctor or go to the nearest hospital casualty unit as soon as possible. Take your own pack with you to show which medicine you have swallowed.
Crampex Tablets contain the following active ingredients: Calcium Gluconate 200mg, Nicotinic Acid 20mg, Colecalciferol 0.02mg.
Crampex Tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: Magnesium Stearate, Povidone, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Maize Starch, Talc (E553b), Pre-gelatinized Starch.
Do not use Crampex Tablets if you:
- Are allergic to any of the ingredients listed in your own leaflet
- Have excessive amounts of calcium in your blood
Make sure Crampex Tablets are suitable for you to use — ask your doctor or pharmacist:
- If you are taking a digitalis preparation (for a heart problem), then consult your doctor before using Crampex Tablets.
- If you are suffering from impaired renal function or have a tendency to form kidney stones, consult your doctor before using this product as the duration of treatment should be kept as short as possible in these circumstances.
- If you suffer from high blood pressure, you have an ulcer in your digestive system (including your stomach), diabetes, gout, or liver problems, consult your doctor before using this product.
The following side effects have been reported following the use of Crampex Tablets: Hot flushes, itching, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting and mild stomach upsets. Rarely, using the product may prevent the liver from working properly.
If you experience any such reactions following use of this product, or any other form of reaction, then discontinue its use immediately and please report this to your doctor or pharmacist who will advise you on the necessary action to take.
