THP Digital Body Fat Monitor measures your percentage body fat. This is an simple and accurate way to check how healthy your body composition is, and is a more accurate indication of your health than either your weight or your Body Mass Index (BMI).

To Take a Body Fat Measurement with the THP Body Fat Monitor
Set up the user:
- Press Mode until the display shows the correct figure
- Press Set to select a user profile number from 1—8
- Press Set to input user's weight (press up to select imperial 'lb' or metric 'kg' measurements)
- Press Set to confirm the unit of measurement
- Press up or down to select the correct user's weight. Press Set to store
- Press up or down to select the user's height. Press Set to store
- Press up or down to adjust the user's age (age range 18-90 years old). Press Set to store
- Press up or down to choose male or female. Press Set to complete the set up process and store all the user settings.
To take a reading: Stand up with your arms held in front of you at chest height.
- Press Start and hold the body fat monitor ensuring that your thumbs are placed on the silver contacts on the top corners of the unit
- Hold this position for 5 seconds
- The Display will show that a reading is being taken
- Your body fat data will display on the LCD

Before using THP Digital Body Fat Monitor: Please be aware that pregnant women and persons with medical implants such as heart pacemakers, respiration apparatus or electrocardiographs must not use this product. If you are unsure about using this item please consult your doctor before use.
The device is a precise electronic instrument. Treat it carefully. Do not drop it, shock it, expose to extreme temperatures and avoid contact with water.

Measurement range:
- Weight range: 10-250KG
- Height range: 100-220cm
- Age: 18-90 years old
Notes: Since your weight and body fat percentage fluctuates over the course of a day, it is better to measure yourself at the same time each day, preferably before meals to obtain comparable results. It is recommended you do this first thing in the morning in order to maintain consistency.
Do not compare measurements made with other scales or monitors since there could be differences due to manufacturing tolerances.
