The present world is broken, but is the product of the way we think. However, the way we see the world is governed by our upbringing and our society. This talk examines some of the ideas that brought us to this point, and looks at the different way that shamanism looks at life.
Shamanism

Shamanism and shamanic ideas predate organised religion, and share fundamental beliefs from other eastern traditions, philosophies and religions from India and China which are gaining popularity in the west. Shamanism doesn't believe in a god, but does believe in a universal consciousness.
The Illusion

Leo examines the illusions that our recent ancestors have come throught to explain the way the world is now. Christianity has been taken over and nationalised, rejecting the organisation and people from the earlier church. Many ideas from the Bible encourage violence, but are not quoted, while the more loving ones are.
The Jesus Myth

Jesus is a repeat of earlier god myths, as so many of the ideas of Jesus follow earlier mythologies.
How It Went Wrong

Western religious beliefs over the last couple of thousand years have limited many ideas that are now being questioned. Such ideas tend to be male dominated, without the balance of the feminine side, as exemplified by the Christian trinity lacking a feminine component, as is shown in most other trinity ideas. Male dominated societies tend to be more violent and less tolerant.
The Shamanic Way

Leo takes us on a journey, examining our goals and how to achieve them. These ancient shamanic ideas seem to have a lot in common with the newer ideas of using imagination in goal setting, personal coaching and cosmic ordering.
